This is a classroom-based Hazmat driver improvement class and can be attended either voluntarily or if ordered by a court or the Virginia DMV. The course is unlike regular Hazmat endorsement training or driver improvement courses, as it is designed to reinforce the hazardous materials regulations, defensive driving techniques specific to Hazmat transport, and responsible, risk-aware decision-making behind the wheel.
