Funding & Assistance Programs

  • FastForward Grant (Workforce Credentials Grant)

The FastForward Grant (Workforce Credentials Grant) provides state-subsidized tuition for eligible Virginia residents enrolled in approved training programs. In many cases, the grant covers up to two-thirds of tuition.

Residency, program eligibility, and completion requirements apply. Students typically must complete within the scheduled timeframe to retain the subsidy.

  • Workforce Funding (WIOA)

We are an approved vendor for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding administered through your local Workforce Center. You may qualify if you are a dislocated worker, unemployed, or meet income-based or other local criteria.

Eligibility is determined by the Workforce Center; we’ll connect you and help with next steps.

  • Veteran Funding (GI Bill®)

2020 CDL Training is approved by the Virginia State Approving Agency to offer GI Bill® education benefits for eligible veterans and dependents.

Benefits depend on the specific GI Bill program (e.g., Post-9/11) and your remaining entitlement.

  • Financing Options

We can help you apply for education financing if needed. Many over-the-road carriers also offer tuition reimbursement programs to help recover your training investment—available to both financed and self-pay students.

Financing approval, terms, and carrier reimbursement programs vary; no employment contracts required through us.

  • Other Funding Sources

We routinely work with banks, agencies, and community programs, including College Grants, Social Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, TAP, DARS, and other private/public sources. We’ll help you build a customized financial plan, prioritizing free or low-cost options when possible.

Students may also pay out-of-pocket via cash or card.
